Alternatrain is an association under the 1901 law created on October 5, 2022

whose philanthropic corporate purpose is as follows:

Promote, study and encourage in all its forms the development of the mode of transport
passenger and freight rail on the French and European network as well as soft modes of transport.

Made up of nine members, this French think tank meets regularly by videoconference and works continuously on current projects, the oldest of which is more than ten years old.

Working voluntarily for the development of soft modes of transport, in the past some members of our team have submitted proposals to the authorities, some of which have been successfully accepted. We are delighted about this.
